On A Brighter Note

I am super excited about Christmas, my favorite holiday. Although there's not that many Christmas movies, i want to go watch anything related to the season. If I remember, I'll blog about every movie I watch this December = ]

I love the chipmunks! I got excited as a little kid when I saw the previews for the 2nd part to their story lol.

Good Timing

There's two sides to this picture. I have the 'mad' look, but I am also about to crack a smile. I didn't think of any of this when I was taking this picture. But when I saw it on my computer it made me realize something about myself.
I'm the type of person that never says no. My mom tells me I get that from my father. But even when helping out gives you a rewarding feeling, there's a difference between making yourself available to help and letting people take advantage of you. I'd say this picture reflects how I really am. When I realize Im being taken advantage of, sometimes I snap and can be very mean to people. But then I automatically feel bad about it. I might not say 'Im sorry', but I might show you I am.
There was a trending topic on twitter today that quickly made it to #1. It called my attention to see [ #urdoing2muchif ]. I posted a few statements that I could think of with the topic. There's a lot more that can be added to the list, but I decided to stop there. I didn't want to get too personal.
I keep telling myself, and my friends, that Im going to start acting b!tchy. I can definitely accomplish that, but I remind myself that God doesn't like that kind of behavior. WWJD is the hardest way to act, but obviously the most correct. I am in serious need to stop being so nice to people that don't deserve it. Last night I texted someone who has acted extremely mean to me...I told that person that I wasn't going to waste any more of our time. Let's hope I can do what I set my mind to. There's always people around you who simply don't deserve you.

Last Few Days

Saturday the whole city and their moms went to see Jay-Z and his people perform. I am proud to say that I wasn't moved by the idea, therefore didn't attempt to go to the show. I was told that it was a very good one, though. Providence, RI was really happy. But anyway, I took my sister & her friend to dinner and we had a great time = ]


Kendrix & Dalesca. He's a long time friend from DR who came to spend a couple of months here, playing piano in church and giving some lessons.

We came back home and watched White Chicks. I still (literally) lol with this movie. We wanted to watch it with my little sister, whom we didn't take to dinner. But she was too busy, as always, on the computer lol.

On Sunday I woke up to a great meal prepared by both my parents. They really make a great team. Church was great, too. Then we went to our friends' house to watch a movie and eat snacks and stuff.


Their oldest son was imitating MJ & besides the fact that he was really funny, I noticed he's really good at it. The middle child served as dj, and the youngest watched and learned. I mean REALLY learned because he can do almost everything his brothers do lol.

Last night we went to church, then I went to the movies with some friends.


Here's Yeila & I at Lincoln Mall. My prince suggested we go there instead of Providence Place. Great idea.


The food was really nice and (call me lame, but) since I'm a 'movie club member' the clerk swiped my card and I got this. Yayy!

We watched SAW VI. IT was very interesting, but very bloody. What else is there to be expected from those type of movies, right? I guess there will be another one next year lol.

Im determined to get my long hair back, so Im watching what I do to it, and taking pictures of the proccess = ]

Lord, I want to thank you for another day, for keeping me and my loved ones safe. For your blessings because they are new every morning. Nice Weekend

Friday after work, snatched this for free =]

Then I went shopping with the special someone. I bought a bunch of things for $50 =] Forgot to take pictures, but from now on, I'll post about my clothing savings lol.


Had dinner at Dave & Busters with my friend Yeila. Then went to watch 'The Stepfather'. Nothing great but pretty entertaining.


Got my hair done on Saturday afternoon, after having lunch with you know who ;) - This is the 1st week of 'operation getting my nice long hair back because Im tired of the short look already' =]


Before going out to dinner with some of my girlies. Friendly's makes me happy haha.

Sunday we had an extended service in church, but it was amazing! Then we went to dinner at Chili's. The dessert looks gross but it was delicious lol.

Last night my friends and I went to have dinner on Federal Hill. Once again, we ate at Chef Ho's. Before we got there, we passed by a weird store, which name I don't remember. But we saw this:



I have no idea what it is, but feel free to try to figure it out. It's cooooooooooool when you see it in person lol.



This little things taste kind of weird but they make you keep going for more lol.



I never finish my plate, but the food is delicious. I always order double rice, because I don't eat eggrolls. The boneless spare ribs are to die for. Marco is always a gentleman and didn't allow us to pay for ANYTHING! Thank you (K)!




After dinner we went to my house to relax. Then we went to Roskaty's house and stayed there until later. We had a snack and watched Spanish television lol. There's always the 'men' topic, too.
