New England Weather

Summer? Really? Where?? Not here in Rhode Island, that's for sure. We've been having rain since forever now. Although I'm thankful for whatever the weather is, given the fact that I'm still alive, it's kind of weird that the sun hasn't come out in the past few days and it just keeps raining and raining. I really don't have a problem with this type of weather, but I have to come to work when all I really want is to stay in bed all day.
It reminds me of an episode of The King of Queens, when Arthur had to move upstairs because it was too cold in the basement. Doug was annoyed by this and looking out the window says:

"...whatever happened to global warming? there were such high hopes for that..."

Im not asking for global warming, just a little sun to make this at least look like summer. Maybe, God? = ]

After Work

No more workout for me today. Although I exercised this morning, I was planning on working out a little more to kill some time. I'll let the time live, and invest it in some writing. I am determined to actually finishing all the writing I started a while back. Exciting !!

I will post pictures of whatever I do lol. Remember, most of these 'projects' are remixes; songs by male singers/rappers, that go very well with female vocals. I want to go record next week, so in two or three weeks I'll have new tracks up. I'll be back later sDq. God bless you all!

Ok. First of, this is a very old picture. I chose it because that's exactly what I've been doing lately, slacking. There's so many already-started projects that I have just pushed aside. Songs that I started writing and forgot about. Studio time that I am allowed to, and don't use, etc.

I'm really excited about all these plans, that I don't even know how to start. My friend Edwin,already a known recording artist, is coming from PR next month and we had already talked about a song together. I haven't really finish writing it, there's no beat for it, and I don't really know how I wanna divide the verses between me and him. Not sure if I want him to be in the Spanish version, or just do a mix all at once. But anyway, he's only coming for like 5 days, and he's already scheduled to perform at a bunch of places.

My father's friend has a really cool studio with like everything! lol. He's somewhat waiting for me to either send him a demo and/or go record while he engineers. Problem is, he's all the way in NY. My dad just reminded me this morning 'cause I had forgotten all about that offer haha. It would be cool going over there and recording with Edwin, but again...very few days, too many engagements. And also, no beat yet hahaha.

The local studio I go to here always has its doors open for me, yayyy! The guys likes it when I record there and it's nice when people who know music enjoy yours ;) The problem is our schedule. My producer and I work at completely different places and while I have all my evenings off, he works at night kind of often. Here's a picture of him:

But umm yeah, next time I get a chance to go to the studio, I'll be doing a 'cover' of a very popular song. You guys will know when I upload it to myspace
